Our School Values
Each half term we focus on a particular 'School Value'. Each time an adult sees a child keeping the School Value the child is allowed to put a special jewel in the jar. Our school values link with the British Values, which the children learn about regularly in assemblies and in the classroom, as well as the ethos of the school.
The School Values for this year are:
|Co-operation||Working together, helping each other, working as a group.|
|Respect||Shows an awareness of other people’s feelings, wishes and rights.|
|Caring||Displaying kindness and concern for others, being a good friend.|
|Patience||The ability to wait; can tolerate a delay.|
|Perseverance||To keep trying; to keep working even if something is difficult.|
Showing responsibility to complete an activity/work, take part in something, help to work as part of a group.
This half term we are focusing on the value Co-operation. All adults in school will be looking for opportunities to reward the children. Children will be asked to put a jewel in the ‘Co-operation’ jar each time an adult sees them working together, helping each other or working as a group.
